Quick answer
Code:net is a connection error. If EA servers are down, wait; otherwise restart the client and network, select a healthy data center and test packet loss.
Five checks
- Open EA service status and your platform network status.
- Restart Apex and the platform.
- Power cycle router and modem.
- Test wired connection or a different network and note packet loss.
- On Windows, flush DNS only as an additional test; it cannot fix an EA outage.
ipconfig /flushdnsServer versus local route
| Pattern | Likely direction |
|---|---|
| Many players across regions fail | Server/service incident. |
| Only your home connection fails | Local router/ISP route. |
| One data center fails | Regional route or data-center issue. |
Report useful data
Record region, platform, data center, timestamp and packet-loss reading. EA’s connection guide can use those details more effectively than a generic error screenshot.
