02 / EASY STEPS

Do this in order.

Direct, reversible guidance—no unnecessary detours.

01

Install Biomonitor and Blood Pump at a Ripperdoc.

Biomonitor supplies the low-health trigger; Blood Pump supplies an equipped Health Item for it to activate.

02

Confirm the Health Item slot and charges.

Biomonitor cannot produce an automatic heal if the required Health Item is unavailable.

03

Consider Health Freak and Borrowed Time.

These Technical Ability perks influence Health Item charges and recharges under defined conditions.

04

Install Second Heart only if you have capacity.

It is a separate fall-back revive effect, not extra Biomonitor charges.

05

Watch the cooldown tooltip.

Second Heart cooldowns differ across tiers and older guides; use the current version on your installed item.

03 / WHAT TO KNOW

Why the “two-minute Second Heart” claim needs a tier check

Older guides list Second Heart around two minutes, while newer item databases show a longer 200-second or tier-dependent cooldown. The exact cooldown and capacity cost must be read in your Cyberware screen. Borrowed Time restores a Health Item charge only after the specific condition: below 25% Health, no charges left, and a qualifying neutralization.

04 / FAQ

Quick questions.

Does Biomonitor heal without a Health Item?

No. It automatically uses an equipped available Health Item.

Is Second Heart the same as Blood Pump?

No. Blood Pump is a Health Item; Second Heart can restore Health after it reaches zero, subject to cooldown and exceptions.

Does Borrowed Time give unlimited healing?

No. The effect triggers only in the specific no-charges, low-health condition.
