Calculate Cyberpunk 2077 component conversions between tiers and budget crafting materials against eurodollars.
Five-to-one Tier 5 component converter
Enter the materials you actually own and a sale-value estimate for other unwanted non-iconic loot to compare crafting progress against an eddies budget.
Do this in order.
Direct, reversible guidance—no unnecessary detours.
Inspect your component inventory.
Write down the actual tier and quantity before converting.
Convert upward in the Crafting menu.
Five components of Tier N can combine into one component of Tier N+1.
Keep Tier 5 materials for cyberware upgrades.
Higher-tier cyberware upgrades consume corresponding crafting components.
Decide whether to dismantle spare clothing.
Clothing can be dismantled for components; wardrobe looks may remain available even without the item.
Use a budget rather than a money glitch.
Track legitimate rewards and sale values without relying on unstable exploits or invented hourly rates.
Why conversion costs rise so fast
Each tier jump multiplies the required lower-tier quantity by five. From Tier 1 to Tier 5, that means four jumps: 5⁴ = 625. It is usually more efficient to collect higher-tier components directly once your character level and loot tier allow them.
The safest component decisions come from your actual Crafting menu, not a fixed reward-per-hour claim.
Quick questions.
How many Tier 4 components make one Tier 5?
Five.
Can every loot item produce the same amount of components?
No. Dismantling rewards depend on the item type, tier and current game rules.
Should I always sell instead of dismantle?
No. Compare your current eddies needs against cyberware upgrade costs and the material you actually need.
