SHOW ME THE FIX

Great screenshots are often about timing more than raw graphics. The weather and frame tools let you stage the shot instead of waiting for random luck.

01 / LIGHT PREVIEW

Preview the scene before you shoot.

Use weather first, then lighting, then timing.

WEATHERRain

Moody reflections and droplets.

WEATHERAcid Rain

Useful for fast previewing before you snap the shot.

WEATHERFog

WEATHERSandstorm

WEATHERSunny

Extra tool: The 3-light spotlight spawner is useful for adding fill, rim, and key light without leaving Photo Mode.
02 / TIME THE SHOT

Do this in order.

This is the simplest workflow for action captures.

Choose the weather mood.

Set rain or fog for atmosphere, or sunny for a cleaner high-contrast look.

Place your three lights.

Use them like a tiny studio: key light, fill light, and rim light.

Slow the game if needed.

Reduce motion speed first if the scene is too chaotic.

Tap Frame Forward.

Advance one frame at a time to catch muzzle flashes, katana arcs, sparks, or raindrop patterns.

Shoot multiple variants.

Tiny timing shifts can completely change the energy of the final screenshot.

03 / BEST MOMENTS

Frame Forward is strongest in action scenes.

These are the easiest moments to improve.

Muzzle flashes

Catch the exact flash instead of a dead frame.

Rain droplets

Freeze the shot with visible streaks and spray.

Katana swings

Stop on the cleanest arc of motion.

Explosions and sparks

Advance slowly to find the brightest visual peak.

04 / QUICK QUESTIONS

FAQ.

Which weather is most cinematic?

Rain and fog usually give the richest atmosphere, but acid rain and pollution can create stronger dystopian moods.

Do I need three lights every time?

No. Sometimes one rim light is enough.

Is Frame Forward only for combat?

No — it is useful for any moving effect, including cloth, weather, and vehicles.
