Quick answer
Rockstar has announced PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for 19 November 2026. It has not published a PC release or minimum PC specifications, so any exact GPU, CPU, RAM or SSD requirement is an estimate.
Official versus estimated
| Component | Official PC minimum | Planning estimate only |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Not announced | A modern multi-core CPU may be sensible. |
| GPU | Not announced | Do not buy a GPU from a leaked list. |
| RAM | Not announced | 16 GB is a general modern-game planning floor, not a Rockstar requirement. |
| Storage | Not announced | Allow substantial SSD headroom; capacity unconfirmed. |
Why storage could matter
The revealed world spans urban and natural environments, and Rockstar’s PC GTA V edition already discusses faster SSD loading. That does not prove a GTA VI install size or a mandatory SSD. Wait for the PC store page before upgrading.
How to verify a future PC announcement
