The quick answer

Build it, preview it, then test it in the Range.

This page gives you a live crosshair builder with simple controls for the settings most players actually care about: color, gap, thickness, inner line length, outer lines, outline, and center dot. Use it to create a crosshair you like, copy the settings summary, and keep testing until it feels natural.

Settings summary
Builder code

This is a lightweight builder string for planning and testing. After you settle on a design, recreate or import the setup in game and export your final official code from VALORANT.

Best practice: build the shape here, then test the final feel inside the VALORANT Range before you commit to a ranked-ready profile.

02 How to use the tool well

  1. Start with a small simple shape

Most strong competitive crosshairs are easy to see without blocking the target.

  2. Change one variable at a time

If you move length, gap, thickness, and color all together, it becomes hard to know what actually helped.

  3. Test in the Range, then in real matches

A crosshair that looks clean in a builder can still feel too thick or too open during fast duels.

  4. Keep one backup profile

If your new crosshair feels worse after a few games, switch back quickly instead of forcing it.

03 Import and export tips

Riot added crosshair import and export in Patch 4.05, and the current game still supports profile-code sharing. The easiest workflow is:

  • Build or copy a design.
  • Open Settings → Crosshair in VALORANT.
  • Import a code if you already have one, or manually match the settings you created here.
  • Once you like the final result in game, export your official profile code from VALORANT and save it.
Important: this Walker Bex tool is meant to help you design and preview a crosshair quickly. Your final “official” profile code should still be confirmed in the live game client.

04 Frequently asked questions

What kind of crosshair works for most players?

Usually a small, static crosshair with clear visibility and not too much clutter. Balanced beats flashy for most people.

Should I use outer lines?

Only if they genuinely help your eye track the reticle. Many players prefer them off for a cleaner look.

Why not use the biggest brightest crosshair possible?

Because too much visual weight can block heads and make precise aiming feel worse.

Can I trust a pro’s crosshair instantly?

No. Pro settings are useful ideas, not guaranteed answers. Your monitor size, resolution, and preference still matter.
